ok.. when we reached Pierce.. we went to their music room and firstly the winds tutors + hornist combined and after the brasses tutor combined too. and they then arranged those visites(bnss, 1st toapayoh, rgt) to go to their section.. and me and pauline went to their "OBBC" section..

lol.. obbc as in.. pauline go BC and i went to bassoon.. and i'm so shocked that.. they actually

do not have any tutors.. and 2 person sharing 1 neck strap. sectionals alone everyday...

the bass clarinet dun have the BC stand below so they use this foot to support the bass clarinet..

the bassoons i saw are actually more ex then ours cuz they have extra keys but we don't..doesn't meant that i'm jealous or wat la.. then the lowest note she learnt was actually concert F.. the note that we sometimes tune after concert Bb that note lor.. and the last time she got tutored was actually last yr's band camp.. the tutor perfomances.. u wanna no more and see my blog..

so pity the bassoon girl lor. she looks damm strong cuz she uses she strength to support her fingers to play bassoon and support it wif no help of the straps.. 1 sec2 and other is sec1 junior..

as for the BASS CLARINETS/CLARINETS..

the clarinet tutor was actually quite pissed of by them as they kept laughing infront of the tutor as if they treat him transparent.. and they played scores e.g ‘Night Train’. And the tutor also asked paulien whether wat mistakes they did.. so she said them.. and the clarinetist was like gave a face saying ‘who are u to comment’ those kinda face lor..

MAIN IDEA

Actually I’m not like trying to suan them or saying that we are very good like that la.
Is that we actually shld really treasure our band and staffs lor.
See the pierce sec sch bassoonists . They are so eager to go band and play their bassoon although she doesn’t have neck strap but she still goes to band happily..
So actually we shld no how fortunate we are and we have all the staff we need.. the only thing we have to do is just to dig out a little time to come for band and every single thing is there for u. alumnis to teach.. seniors to guide.. they dun have any seniors or alumnis but themselfs!

So we actually shld learn Pierce sec sch’s band spirit. They are very very passionate to band.
So if we are similar to pierce.. then wats gonna happened to our band? Izzit it gonna be more ppl skippin band? They(band skippers) really dun no how fortunate they are.

And I’m like so touched by them.. if I were they.. honestly specking I’ve already quitted band.
And the double reeeds section actually spilts up and they sectionals by their own. Oboe only 1person.. no tutor.. using the fingering chat to guide themselves.
They are really very independent.

As standard we are better.
But their spirit.. they bet us.

so.. actually this section is veryx100 rare.. and we are indeed veryx100 happy to come into this section.. as we dun have to be spilted up like most of the others sch.. bassoon practice themselfs.. or oboe practice themself.. and i just love the attendants now that makes me go to band.

seriously.. mostly the schs bassoons are left alone.. and oboe go wif flute. BC wif clarinet..

actually frankly specking.. u guys may tink.. as if i very big and good like that rite.. and hu am i to comment on those band skippers or pierce.. cuz i'm only a small fly(junior) in band.. but since a fly comes to band y can't u 'big flies' guys go? is it reall that difficult just to crawl up ur bed..? lol.. this is wat i really feel. u guys really must see the bassoon ppl... they are very good players to me.
